I love kathak dance




Kathak is the classical dance form from utthara pradesh. 

I started learning Kathak from Shanika Madam in 2019. She was a very talented teacher and I got interested in Kathak dance after seeing her dance moves.  

After a year I performed the ghungroo ceremony rituals. This is special ceremony held for kathak students  after we recieve our first pair of ghungroo from our teacher as graduate of this particular dance stream.


After that I continue to practice Kathak dance. Also performed in Kathak dances. These days I am preparing to face the Kathak scholar exam.


This dance involves complex footwork, rhythmic movements and a series of graceful gestures that require strength, flexibility and coordination. This makes our body look younger, loose body weight and brings lot of excitement in life. 

 

I love kathak dance culture with all my heart.
